cakes are only part of the story

“I’m excited by any food that’s prepared by someone who’s proud of what they’re doing, who puts a personal imprint on food.”

OH HEY, I’M MINH

owning a bakery was never my childhood dream. it was never even a career choice throughout my twenties. I went to school for Korean language and literature studies, graduated in South Korea then went back to Vietnam to work in sales and marketing. my job at the time was mentally demanding, baking came to me as a hobby, a way to de-stress. turns out I’m really good at de-stressing.

fast forward and here I am, half way around the world from Vietnam, owning two bakeries. dream cakes + sugar blooms. it is, and will always be one heck of a ride that I’m so proud of and can’t thank you - my supporters and my customers - enough for making this bakery a reality.

WHEN IT COMES TO CAKE AND DESSERTS, I BELIEVE WHAT'S ON THE INSIDE IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS WHAT'S ON THE OUTSIDE.

that said, I'm not only an experienced baker but a passionate one. because I know treats make people happy. and I love passing on that sweet joy to you. fact: if my desserts make even one person happy, then it’s not just dessert, it’s the byproduct of trying to make the world a better place.
